A holiday with it’s colors being pink & red, I mean what more could you ask for?! If you thought Valentine’s Day would simply pass by on lifestylebygianna.com without some sort of girly party, you were definitely mistaken lol! Today, I’m sharing with you the ultimate Galentine’s Day Party that I helped plan along with some of my other favorite bloggers!
No better way to celebrate the ladies that helped you through that break up, or that hard time then with the ultimate get together! This will totally be the most epic celebration of your friendship!
Location
The first step is deciding on where you want to hold your party. We decided to rent out the Mission Loft in SF. The decorations it already had itself were just absolutely beautiful! It felt SO homey! So renting out a venue / space is definitely always a great option! {Plus saves you from all that cleaning 😉}
OR you can always host the gathering in your own home, which is little more cost efficient & is a great way to make your guest feel comfortable!
Once you figure out a location, it’s time to decide on a theme! Since ours was during the day time starting at noon, we decided to have a cute little brunch. Which typically the most popular way to host it. But there are NO rules! You could totally spice it up and have a PJ party with some pizza or however you & your girlfriend’s like to celebrate!
Decorations
Nothing say’s a party like the decorations! Most of these items you see were actually purchased from target, home goods, or amazon! Which shows you don’t have to spend a fortune to get what you want with your space!
I purchased this “LOVE” balloon for only $7 on amazon & it was such a hit! I couldn’t believe when one of the girls told me she got the heart shaped dishes, pink & red hearts, confetti for the table, balloons, and sign to welcome guest for each $3 or less! Ladies, if that isn’t a major score in your book I don’t what is.
Creating a centerpiece for the table that will leave your guest in awe couldn’t be any easier then just adding a cute table runner underneath {we went with this beautiful blush pink one from home goods} & adding cake stands placed freely throughout, holding yummy desserts! These simple steps really gave the space that completed look.
Food
Now we’re getting to the good stuff! One of my favorite things is food that is “too pretty to eat!” and I think we accomplished that! 😂 This cake is seriously one of the most prettiest arrangement & floral designs I’ve ever seen! mean the beautifully decorated top with flowers {my favorite thing!} made it just so girly & fun. The inside was even ombré!
Huge thank you to the Jen Project for bringing these baked goods over, because I mean can we talk about these cupcakes?! They were the perfect pop of red & pink, and once agian the top is decorated to the very last detail!
You can also ask for friends to bring a dish or dessert, to take a little stress off! Plus, that way you will have a variety of options! But I mean c’mon, if they are your girls, then even if all you had was pink champagne and cutely shaped cupcakes you would still have just as good of a time!
Flowers
I don’t know about you but when I think of February, I think of roses! I mean it’s the month of love after all! So to really help achieve that Final WOW factor to our table setting, Grand Fleurs sent us the most beautiful arrangement’s! I mean look at their rose bears! Such a unique touch perfect for Vday.
We also received the most beautiful box from The Flower Box, SF that made the spread even more amazing! But don’t worry, their is seriously SO many options you can do! We also added little gold vases filled with pink & red roses! Simple arrangements like that make all the difference.
Bar Cart
This bar cart set up was super classy filled with Pink Champagne & Gold Rimed Glasses from Anthropologie. If you wanna try something more casual, sparkling water or some favorite fruity juices would work just as well that would fit the theme! && make sure to add a few decor touches {might we suggest some leftover florals} to really top it off! 😉
Gift Bags
If you wanna go all out and decide to make little party favors for your girls, pick up some ideas would be to throw in some face masks, jewelry, lipstick, a soothing candle, eye masks && so much more!
Photo Booth
Get that insta worthy pic by creating your own photo booth with a couple easy steps.
• Get fun little props like little signs with funny sayings on them, some big red lips, sunglasses, or hats. {Target, Amazon}
• Create a fun background for the pics to be in front of.
That’s it! As simple as that! You will be the hostess with the mostess with this easy & fun extra step to help create funny memories with your girlfriend’s to laugh at for yours to come!
Music
This one is a no brainer! Throw on some of your favorite hits from today, or throw it back with some 80’s or 90’s music.& you & your girlfriend’s won’t resist dancing along! We had music playing in the background & it definitely made the atmosphere feel so fun!
No matter what you end up doing for your next Galentine’s, remember to just make it YOU! It doesn’t have to be perfect, because I guarantee your friends will have a blast anyways!
I hope you guys all have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
